After graduating from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Jonathan began his professional career as an art director at motion graphics house Fuel/Razorfish. In 2001 Jonathan founded Brand New School. As the company’s Chief Creative Director and a commercial director himself, Jonathan fosters an atmosphere of unfettered creativity and thoughtful exploration, a principle that has earned BNS recognition in the many fields of commercial art that it practices.

Jonathan’s work ranges from ID’s and branding campaigns for MTV, Cartoon Network, and directing work for high profile commercials for AT&T, Chase, and UNICEF. Jonathan has received recognition from the Art Directors Club, the Cannes Lions Awards, the Clios, the D&AD, the AIGA, PROMAX/ BDA, and the Type Directors Club. Jonathan continues to share his knowledge outside the walls of BNS via participating in workshops and lecturing throughout the US and across the globe. 

With a background in painting, photography, and old fashioned photo-montage, Ben Go joined Brand New School LA thirteen years ago after graduating from Otis College of Art and Design. Over the past decade, Ben has brought his impeccable eye and fine arts aesthetic to such notable BNS projects as the OfficeMax “Life Is Beautiful Campaign” for The Escape Pod and the Target “Simply What Matters” campaign. 

Ben currently oversees all aspects of creative development in Brand New School’s Los Angeles studio, while working as a commercial director through the company’s film production division. As diverse as they come, Ben continues to direct award winning live-action, animation, graphic design, and visual effects based projects.

After completing his studies at the North Carolina School of the Arts and Brown University, Danny began his career as an artists working in theatrical production. Danny worked his way into producing live action and visual effects for a number of leading NYC-based design shops, production companies and television networks. In 2002, Danny joined Psyop as a supervising producer, where he produced numerous critically acclaimed spots. Those experiences brought him to Brand New School.

in 2007 Danny joined as East Coast Executive Producer and since then has helped marshal the award-winning commercial production studio into an internationally recognized creative force. Danny is a partner, and the company’s Managing Director responsible for studio’s multidisciplinary operations in New York and Los Angeles. 

After graduating from UCLA in 2004 with a dual-degree in History and Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics, Devin took his first position within the advertising industry. Shortly thereafter, he began his tenure at Brand New School’s Los Angeles office.

Devin has produced and executive produced many signature projects earning numerous awards and accolades. Additionally, he’s been invited to lecture at the NYU Wharton and Columbia Schools of Business and spoken on numerous AICP conference panels. He was named a Partner in the company in 2010, and is executive producer, overseeing the company’s design, live-action production, animation and VFX operations.
