Christopher Palazzo

Art Director

A Louisiana native, Christopher’s history with Brand New School dates back to 2006. Presently, he is an Art Director at the company’s New York studio. For Christopher, style comes after storytelling. Eschewing a fixed method for approaching a project he prefers to start from the ground up to allow solutions to present themselves organically.

In 2009, Christopher art directed a cross-platform campaign directed by Academy award-winning filmmaker Errol Morris. Since then he’s directed numerous campaigns at Brand New School including EDP, during which he collaborated with legendary designer Stefan Sagmeister. He has also created work for many other companies including: Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, Reckitt Benckiser and Minute Maid. In 2008 Christopher took his skills to a different platform by writing, designing and animating a track for the world renowned children’s program Yo Gabba Gabba.

Christopher draws inspiration from his far reaching interests and obsessions, which include artificial intelligence, psychology, myths, music, vintage scooters, and of course all things design related. He regularly contributes to group art shows in New York as well as small art publications worldwide.
