In the latest release to come out of LA, director Ben Go captures the often neglected beauty of driving in perilous weather conditions. The spot begins on the road in a picturesque setting with a driver behind the wheel of the CR-V, when it suddenly begins to pour. Through the use of artful design, seamless visual effects and flawless finishing, viewers see the weather changing to more severe rain, then snow, until graphic forms mysteriously appear in the sky. In a lighthearted twist, the perspective eventually widens to reveal that the vehicle has driven across a graphical weather forecast.
Props to Ben, the live-action and CG teams, RPA, the impenetrable Honda CR-V and everyone else involved in creating this magical, weather-torn world.
