Last year, we teamed up with the good folks at MMB to elevate the Subway $5 footlong and solidify its place in history. When they invited us back for the recent Subway Febru-ANY campaign, we wanted to push the iconic, theatrical look of the vignettes even further and find a novel way of presenting the idea that Subway “owns” the month of February.
From ANY igloos to $5 footlong touchdown dances, we racked our brains for fresh ways of uniting Subway’s branding with the familiar and funny associations of February. Though some of our crazier ideas didn’t make the cut, like our lovable footlong daschund winning the ANY award at the Westminster Dog Show, we did manage to get away with suspending a real live baby cherub in mid-air and showing Ben Franklin looking totally creepy as he presents birthday-boy George Washington with an ANY cake.
Thanks to everyone involved in making Febru-ANY happen, and special thanks to MMB for reuniting the band for this memorable second round.
