In an effort to rebrand corporate lobby spaces worldwide, GE came to BNS to create an interactive installation showcasing its world-class research and technologies.
We then explored several designs for the experience with the goal of creating an experience that showcased the GE’s vast library of content in an exciting and engaging way. We established four pillars to represent the company’s core services: Powering, Building, Moving and Curing. Each pillar comprises dozens of images that react to passers-by and provide access to showcase videos and information realted to various GE products and research projects.
We designed the experience with two major levels of interaction. Using Camera Vision technology, the application responds to the motion of people walking in front of the wall. The second level of interaction allows users to explore content deeply using a touch-screen. When the user is done with exploration, the screen animation follows his or her walk away.
