Anaïs La Rocca

Anaïs La Rocca is a director and writer based in New York. Her work is vibrantly influenced and informed by her talents as a writer and eye as a designer. She brings her taste for color and form into her work creating a visual language that drives the narrative. Her work demonstrates a range of multidisciplinary talents— whether the medium is live-action, CG, animation, or a combination of the three, it is always the strong narratives and characters that fuel the stories she tells.

Along with being a judge in the prestigious 2020 One Show’s ‘Moving Image Craft’ category, Ana has been featured in the SHOOT DGA’s 2018 New Directors Showcase. Her short film Good Bones won an International Motion Arts Award amongst other accolades and her writing has appeared in the New York Times.

She has also directed many musicians, including projects for the Grammy Award Winning Skrillex & Diplo album Jack Ü and the Toyboy&Robin “Save Me Now” music video, awarded a coveted Vimeo Staff Pick amongst other accolades. Her commercial titled, “Sundae Manifesto” won a People’s Choice Award at the 2017 Webby Awards. Ana has also worked with many high-profile brands such as Neiman Marcus, Cartier, Apple, and Atlantic Records.
