Apple Arcade

Helping Apple launch its cross-platform video game streaming service.

We integrated a dynamic range of games and styles that reflects the premium quality of Apple, while staying true to the spirit of each individual game.

The designs were largely inspired by movie posters and classic video game box art. Using assets from the games provided by Apple and the developers, we created game-specific scenes that could be used as static Key Visuals, as well as a Loopable and Action Animation for each title.

The greatest challenge was incorporating multiple characters and properties from every game under the Apple Arcade umbrella. Often times, this would include such varied styles and techniques as 2D and 3D animation, as well as textured lighting and shading of entirely handcrafted worlds.
