Meta

Connect

Visualizing the future of human connectivity.

Welcome to the Metaverse.

Facebook rebranding as Meta was a huge signal to the world that they believe the future of connections lies in the Metaverse. However, people had a very limited understanding of what the Metaverse actually was, let alone the future capabilities it will bring to humankind. Our challenge was to educate people as to what the Metaverse is, what it can do, and inspire people to come, all in short mixed-media films.

We chose to showcase the possibilities offered within the metaverse through the lens of these two themes. To ensure we kept the attention of viewers throughout the keynote presentation, we leveraged the energy and dynamism of sports commercials.

Knockout... When your sparring partner is a menacing robot monster and the futuristic desert landscape crumbles around you with every blow.

Saucin' saucin'... When you’re playing a 3-on-3 pickup game with your friends who live on the other side of the globe.

Dropping knowledge... Step inside your textbooks and learn about the constellations.

An ambitious undertaking and an amazing achievement for Director Nico Cassavechia and the BNS team. With shoots in multiple cities, an incredible team of artists from our studios in Los Angeles and New York collaborated to bring the Metaverse to life in record time.

Our work was viewed over 6.7 million times and inspired a sense of wonder and excitement for new possibilities the metaverse will bring. It was featured in the Time 100 Most Influential Companies 2022. The chatter on YouTube was also abuzz with the visualizations: “The concepts shown on display here give me goosebumps, in the best way!” and “There are some truly exciting things to look forward to.”
